Lore
- Origin Myth
Käfoozgrag, fin Grag Et (Big Green, the Green One) strode from the horizon when the world was wet clay. Tore first thunder-hoof from earth, split hide to clothe first brod, planted bones to grow plains. From blood sprang five seasons; from roar, red moon Narumar. Spoke: 'Walk until the grass remembers your step, fight until the wind carries your name, love until the fire knows your heat.' Then vanished, leaving command to roam.

- Käfoozgrag, fin Grag Et (Big Green, the Green One) – primal ancestor
- Core Legends
Käfoozgrag, fin Grag Et (Big Green, the Green One): Primal ancestor who strode from the horizon when the world was wet clay. Tore the first thunder-hoof from the earth, split its hide to clothe the first brod, planted its bones to grow the endless plains. From the beast’s blood sprang the five seasons; from its roar, the red moon Narumar. Spoke: 'Walk until the grass remembers your step, fight until the wind carries your name, love until the fire knows your heat.' Then vanished, leaving the command to roam.
War of All and One: Cataclysm without victor when sky cracked and plains bled rivers of fire. Brods warred against shadow-kin. Käfoozgrag returned in spirit-form, splitting into shards that entered every Ogim heart (the Kori-glow in tattoos). When they flare brightest, the ancestor fights through the living. Plains grew wider; first spirit-capture raid born from truce-fire where rival chieftains exchanged daughters.
Narumar’s Red Eye: Red moon wandered too close, scorching the plains until grass withered and rivers steamed. Käfoozgrag climbed the sky on a ladder of lightning, wrestled Narumar, and gouged its eye so it would blink and give night. The gouged piece fell as the first iron, which Ogim still forge into tusk-rings. Every red moon eclipse is Narumar remembering the fight.
The Silent Mare: Jaanbrod scout who outran Etzil’s drought for forty suns, guiding her brod to a hidden spring. When she collapsed, the earth opened and drank her sweat, birthing the first oasis; her spirit became the wind that whispers water-sources to enduring females.
Iron-Tusk’s Fall: Brombrod warrior who forged a blade from stolen sky-metal, slaying a hundred foes but refusing to share the kill. His tusk shattered at the victory feast; the shards became the iron rings young males now earn only through proven generosity.
The Circle That Ate Itself: Cautionary vision of a brod that ceased migrating, built stone walls, and forgot the âzgâ. The plains swallowed them whole, leaving only a perfect ring of grass where no hoof ever tread again. Children taught to fear stillness above all.

From the beast’s blood sprang the five seasons; from its roar, the red moon Narumar. Spoke: 'Walk until the grass remembers your step, fight until the wind carries your name, love until the fire knows your heat.' Then vanished, leaving the command to roam.",
"War of All and One: Cataclysm without victor when sky cracked and plains bled rivers of fire. Brods warred against shadow-kin. Käfoozgrag returned in spirit-form, splitting into shards that entered every Ogim heart (the Kori-glow in tattoos). When they flare brightest, the ancestor fights through the living. Plains grew wider; first spirit-capture raid born from truce-fire where rival chieftains exchanged daughters.",
"Narumar’s Red Eye: Red moon wandered too close, scorching the plains until grass withered and rivers steamed. Käfoozgrag climbed the sky on a ladder of lightning, wrestled Narumar, and gouged its eye so it would blink and give night. The gouged piece fell as the first iron, which Ogim still forge into tusk-rings. Every red moon eclipse is Narumar remembering the fight.",
"The Silent Mare: Jaanbrod scout who outran Etzil’s drought for forty suns, guiding her brod to a hidden spring. When she collapsed, the earth opened and drank her sweat, birthing the first oasis; her spirit became the wind that whispers water-sources to enduring females.",
"Iron-Tusk’s Fall: Brombrod warrior who forged a blade from stolen sky-metal, slaying a hundred foes but refusing to share the kill. His tusk shattered at the victory feast; the shards became the iron rings young males now earn only through proven generosity.",
"The Circle That Ate Itself: Cautionary vision of a brod that ceased migrating, built stone walls, and forgot the âzgâ. The plains swallowed them whole, leaving only a perfect ring of grass where no hoof ever tread again. Children taught to fear stillness above all."
