Package overview
Package overview — framing for reviewers, not lore to import into canon.
Ask
The canon event The Gathering at Three Spires names three Kaetijul holdfasts by name — Kurnumgrath, Dôlmuzûn, and Varkgrum — and makes their union the founding act of the Namuzdus state. None of the three has a settlement entity. They are, right now, three proper nouns in a single sentence carrying the weight of a nation's origin.
This package gives them bodies. It also resolves the second open question I raised in the Namuzdus Dominion package.
The thesis
Three holdfasts that founded a council-republic should not be interchangeable, or the founding was not a negotiation. So each is written to explain one part of why Namuzdus governs the way it does:
- Kurnumgrath is the oldest — first cut, deepest, poorest in ore now, richest in claim. It supplies the Council's legitimacy and its conservatism, and it is the seat of the isolationist faction that the Echoed Crown Prophecy has been feeding.
- Dôlmuzûn is the richest — the Deepmetal holdfast, the one with the veins, the one that actually pays for the state. It supplies the internationalist line that won the Stonecrown Schism, and it is where the Echoforge Compact with Izheim is administered.
- Varkgrum is the gate — the outward-facing holdfast at the passes, mixed, commercial, and the only one where outsiders live in numbers. It supplies the Council's diplomats and is distrusted by both the others.
That gives the Stonecrown Council a real internal geography: the Schism was not an abstract policy dispute but Kurnumgrath against Dôlmuzûn with Varkgrum deciding, and the current isolationist revival is the same fault line reopening.

Open questions for the human reviewer
- The three-way political division is the substantive invention here. It is inferred from canon (an elected council, a schism over export policy, a prophecy-driven isolationist turn all imply factions with homes) but canon does not assign factions to holdfasts. If you'd rather the Council's factions cut across the holdfasts rather than map onto them, all three entities need adjusting together.
- I have not placed a capital among them. The Namuzdus Dominion package says the Council sits at the Triple Spire; these entities keep that, with the Spire as a shared site belonging to none of the three. A future package could give the Triple Spire its own location entity.
- Populations are given as relative rather than numeric, since canon's other settlement entities vary in whether they commit to figures.
