Package overview — framing for reviewers, not lore to import into canon.

Propose a full first-draft country entity for Nasun, selected at random from the spatial-only countries on Silgolt that have zero canon lore and no prior candidate package.
The central idea (needs your ruling)
Nasun is the smallest named polity on Silgolt in the map data: 36 cells, dwarfed even by the surrounding duchies (Kokit 47, Ohynso 60, Aalhotikyn 106). A state that small survives among larger neighbors only if all of them need it intact. The proposal: Nasun is the region's neutral ground. Its sovereignty is functional rather than territorial. It is where the western duchies swear their treaties, arbitrate their feuds, lodge their wards, and archive their compacts, because an oath sworn on ground any one duchy owns binds no rival. Where the Hihn Confluence survives by keeping the water open, Nasun survives by keeping the table honest.
The Yoori hook is deliberately canon-shaped: Yoori coalesces where belief is thickest and resists falsehood (magic.overview_magic). Generations of kept oaths on one small patch of ground would give that ground weight. The entity phrases this as belief and reputation, never as a wieldable mechanic.
Grounding
- Map/spatial: country feature "Nasun" (countries.json); Silgolt canon file lists Nasun at 36 cells, the smallest named polity on the continent. Proximity results cluster it with Aalhotikyn, Hihn, Kokit, Ohynso, Tuzraag (plus Namuzdus, Siltuz, Súzyngol, Tovo, Ygtaani farther out). Provinces Brat and Eb and rivers Glamzois and Joimzofs appear nearest in proximity, but I could not read the raw adjacency file through MCP, so no neighbor, province or river claim is asserted as fact; the neighbor list in the entity is marked provisional, following the practice of the Hihn Confluence canon file.
- Canon: Silgolt biomes (tropical seasonal forest, savanna dominate the interior), cultures (Sahrotsos, Zegtuzsos majorities; Yukejulhel, Jaajul, Aedhelirjul, Kaetijulhel minorities), the Twin Pyres era (West Pyre administered from the Tovo marches, i.e. this general region), Hihn Confluence (tone sibling; its "armed usefulness" doctrine is echoed here as a distinct variant, not copied), magic overview (Kori personal, Tazri ritual, Yoori ambient).
- Lexicon: yirlkot = oath, golt = ground/place (the golt element is attested across map toponyms: Silgolt, Revakgol, Zogol, Súzyngol). The styled exonym Yirlkot'Golt / Yirlkotgolt ("oath-ground") is offered as a non-canon Sigtaara-styled name for the moot site, marked as proposed.
What each item does
- This overview.
- One new country entity:
countries_and_continents.continents.silgolt.nations.nasun.nasun_ground, following the id pattern and section layout of the Hihn Confluence file.
Invented (flagged as such in the entity)
Everything beyond the map facts: the neutral-ground concept, the College of Hearers, the truce-fair economy, the "unheard" punishment, all history framing (dates left open), the demonym Nasunir, the Yirlkotgolt name.
Open questions
- Confirm or correct the provisional neighbor set once adjacency can be read (Kokit, Ohynso, Tuzraag, Aalhotikyn, Hihn?).
- Should Hihn's canon neighbor list gain a Nasun edge? Left out of this package pending adjacency confirmation.
- Are provinces Brat and Eb inside Nasun? Left unclaimed.
- Species plurality: the entity proposes deliberate mixedness (residency follows service to the Ground). If you'd rather anchor it in one culture, Sahrotsos or Zegtuzsos both fit the savanna belt.
- Founding date, capital settlement name, currency and languages left open on purpose.
