Retiring a canon entity is a human action. This item is the checklist, not a change.
File to remove: canon/json/military_conflicts/great_wyrm_war.json
Preconditions. Item 2 canonized first, so the article exists on the event entity before the conflict file goes. Items 3-16 canonized second, so no child points at a file that no longer exists.
Expected incoming edges at time of removal: zero. Before deleting, confirm the seven parent_conflict edges are gone. If any remain, the children will dangle rather than fail loudly.
Not affected. The four references that resolve to history.events.the_great_wyrm_war — Kaemisyol's historical_entries and related_events, the Revakgol Consolidation Wars, the Ashen Regency — already point at the surviving entity and need no work.
After removal, the index loses its only military_conflict parent record. The seven children keep the type. The conflict template guideline at canon/template_guideline/conflict.md no longer has a top-level example in canon, which is worth noting if that guideline is used to seed future wars.
Verification after canonization: load the Atlas page for history.events.the_great_wyrm_war. Expect the full article rather than the two-sentence stub, four campaign phases, and seven child conflicts in Relations.
