The Duchy of Kokit

canon/json/countries_and_continents/continents/silgolt/nations/kokit/duchy_of_kokit.json

A poor upland duchy on the upper water of the rivers that carry its name, and the one country in the western cluster that is still genuinely ruled by a dynasty. Kokit's spring-heads feed richer neighbors downstream, which gives a small and unremarkable state a leverage it has spent its entire history publicly refusing to use: every Source-Keeper swears the Abstention at each named spring in the duchy and seals it into the archive at Nasun. The Kokitir understand exactly what their water is worth, and understand better what would happen to them if they ever said so.
