Deep-adapted humanity of Hjemland — hills, mineral veins, under-stone — known in Sigtaara scholarly taxonomy as Kaetijul. They call themselves human, same as their surface kin. Shaped by geological time into patience and permanent craft. Folk genesis is the Unfinished Work; identity is the First Cut. Not a separate people in their own speech — still human.
