Humanity of mixed surface–deep stock — known in Sigtaara scholarly taxonomy as Jaajul (often rendered 'halflings' in common speech). They call themselves human. The mixture can predate the name; the label hardens when scholarly catalogs need a third drawer for Hjemland peoples.
