The Duchy of Ygtaani

canon/json/countries_and_continents/continents/silgolt/nations/ygtaani/duchy_of_ygtaani.json

A transhumant duchy of the western cluster whose territory is less a shape than a schedule. Ygtaani's herds move between wet-season uplands and dry-season pasture along corridors that cross four of its neighbours' sovereign territory by ancient right, and Ygtaani law travels with them: in season, in the corridor, on the move, a herd is under the duchy's own jurisdiction wherever it happens to be standing. Its neighbours have accepted this for centuries and have never entirely stopped resenting it.
